One Handed Readers - Jim,Mac,andRob started the band as a joke.A friend of ours thought he was so cool because he was in a Metal band,and we were going to show him how lame his band was.The three of us had no talent,we didn't even have equipment.We practiced at the metal guy's studio in his garage.Jim-guitar,Mac-drums,Rob-bass.We wrote one song(30 seconds of a song) and played part of the Ramones song-Pinhead.The day had come for our glory,metal guy's party.We were to open for his band.As we picked up the equipment the crowd gathered in front of us.We explode into the 30 second song and everyone was going crazy,same with the next song.A cymbal went flying as we were finishing and metal guy comes running up saying,you guys will never play again.When his band started nobody at the party was interested.I think we proved our point.He sucked!And The One Handed Readers were born!

History(Who are the One Handed Readers)
Jim Sander-Guitar,Rob Leon-Bass,Craig MacIntire-Drums play first backyard party.Steve & Mike Coulter wanted to be in the band,ok Mike didn't give a shit.Steve-Vocals,Mike-Bass,Jim-Guitar,Rob-Guitar,Mac-Drums become the One Handed Readers.The few lucky fans that attended these early shows,witnessed the rawest punk rock ever.2 summers later,Mac goes to school in Pittsberg and Jim stopped coming to practice.Replaced by Mike Yeater-Drums and Paul Osterly-Guitar. Recorded 5 songs at Mike's (Coulter) house,put out on cassette.Not long after,Steve moves to Prague.Paul puts guitar down for vocals,he shows up for practice and flakes the night of shows.Mike(Coulter) quits,replacement Rick(Ted)Carmody-Bass.Paul is out,Rob is pushed into being the frontman.Lineup Rob-Vocals&Guitar,Ted-Bass,Yeater-Drums.About to call it quits,the bands biggest fan(broke his ankle at a O.H.R. show)wanted to try out.Mike Rodriguez-Vocals.Recorded 18 songs for self-titled CD.A few years later,due to difference in musical direction Yeater is asked to leave band.Larry Markey-drums.Record 6 songs for Up & Cuming CD.Larry leaves band,becomes CHP officer.Dustin(formally with Prop13)-Drums and add Tim Welch-Guitar for thicker sound.Record 6 more songs for Up & Cuming CD.Dustin loses interest,replaced by Paul Kelly(Rosemary's Billygoat)-Drums.Narcotics officers raid Rob's place.Readers play a few more shows.March 01' Rob goes to jail,and the One Handed Readers become a memory.
